How Does Cellar Direct Work?

• CELLAR DIRECT OFFERS describe the winemaker and their wine and include our comments and those of critics.
• You can order these wines online only from select liquor stores through Cellar Direct offers. Minimum order is two bottles.
• All orders must be accompanied by a valid credit card; payment will be made directly to the retailer of your choice through secure website links. Your credit card will be authorized but will only be charged after your retailer has ordered the wine.
• You will receive an order confirmation by email after your credit card has been authorised.
• You will be notified by email when your order is available.
• You will need to present a copy of your confirmation to your retailer to receive your order and a payment receipt.
• All wine will be available in limited quantities.
• Each Cellar Direct Offer will state the expected availability date of the wine; most will be within 30 days of the offer. However, these dates cannot be guaranteed as shipping schedules are subject to change and the vagaries of clearing Canada Customs and local distribution.distribution. Also, we do not distribute wine during the heat of summer (July & August).
• You might have the opportunity to place additional orders of wine you particularly enjoy. Please visit the "Case Offers" page of this website for further information.
• You may cancel your order within 2 days of receiving your confirmation by emailing Cellar Direct at wine@cellardirect.ca. After 2 days of your order confirmation date (not the availability date of the wine) no cancellations will be accepted.
• In the unlikely event that the wine is flawed the retailer you purchased it from will offer you a full refund or you may request a replacement if it is available. The bottle must be returned to your retailer in good condition, with most of the wine and the enclosure in place.
• You do not have to buy wine to receive Cellar Direct email offers. Cellar Direct is not a wine club, you are not charged any fees to receive Cellar Direct emails and you are under no obligation to buy anything. If at any time you decide you no longer want to receive these emails just click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the email.
• All wines described in Cellar Direct emails are sold only by select retailers.
